Solar System Assignment (over the Christmas break)

For Classes 701 and 703 ONLY:
As you know, you are going to learn content from the 8th grade this year. To get you started, you are going to learn about the Earth, Moon, and Seasons for now. So watch the videos/slideshows on these websites in the order shown, then answer all the questions that follow. It is very important that you watch all these videos because you WILL be tested on these topics in the 8th grade, plus in my class. Remember, the only time you will learn about these topics is now. So pay careful attention to the videos and answer all the questions at the end of this post.

Go to the StudyJams website. Once you are on there, click on the "Science" tab. Then, click on either arrow until you find the SOLAR SYSTEM topic. After watching the 3 Videos/Slideshows shown below, click on the "Test Yourself" Questions and answer them. So click on Study Jams to get to the website and these are the videos/slideshows to watch:
a) Gravity & Inertia
b) A Day on Earth
c) The Moon

*These first two Astronomy websites below are very useful too and will help you answer the questions if you need extra assistance. And the last two websites have interactive games on Astronomy as well:
Kids Astronomy
Cosmos 4 Kids
Interactive Astronomy Website
Games on Earth, Sun, & Moon

*Also, don't forget that you can use the Study Guide I gave you that summarizes all the main topics from the 6th, 7th, and 8th Grades.
