Electricity & Magnetism Connection:
The
movement of electrons creates
magnetic
force!
Remember that electrons are part of atoms. A magnet’s atoms are lined up so
that all the north poles point in the same direction and all the south poles
point in the other direction. The two ends of
the magnet that the poles are pointing toward have the strongest
magnetic force.
In Summary:
•Electricity is
an invisible form of energy based on the movement of electrons.
•Magnetism is a
mysterious and invisible force that can push or pull, created by electrons
moving.
•Electricity and magnetism are part of the same fundamental force called electromagnetism.
•Together they are the reason many machines work, from motors to computers.

•Electricity produces magnetism, and
magnetism produces electricity! They both affect and influence each other.
